Route 23 Bluegrass Country

Banner Kidd’s Route 23 Bluegrass Country airs each 1st Day of the week (called sunday) on 95.5fm, am1140, and streaming live, from 9:30 until Noon, EST.

The show features, primarily Bluegrass, along with a smattering of Classic Country, and Roots Americana. Banner’s experience in live performance, music production, knowledge of the varied musical genres, and a passion for the music makes him a great fit for Route 23 Bluegrass Country.

This is the latest in Banner’s broadcast history, beginning with the WBNO/WQCT Country Music Showcase in the early 80’s, The Heartbeat of Noble County on AM1140 WAWK, in the late 80’s, Manager and Morning Sh0w host on WQKO/CSN International from 1998 until 2007. He also functions as a consultant and fill in personality on 95.5fm, The Hawk, and is a jingle writer/producer, and a voice over artist who offers radio production servicres. In addition Banner is the host of Route 23 Bluegrass Country. He also does a radio program with Pastor Ron Hyre, of Messiah Fellowship in Howe, IN.  The program, called “You’ve Heard it Said,” is a 30 minute program focused on what people say that Scripture says, contrasted with what is actually written.
